I have used all types of brushes in my life as an artist. I like trying new brands and types all the time. Most people may or may not know that certain types of bristles are better suited to certain types of materials than others. These are synthetic and pig hair. So you can use them on almost anything, but most will use them on acrylics and watercolors. I mostly use them for acrylic paints. I've only really used them for fabric paints and they did a great job. I like how heavy they are. Yes they are a bit long but they were still comfortable to use. The brushes are excellently made and I didn't lose a single hair while painting. The synthetic was stiff but not overly so my fine lines were precise and light. I love the packaging they come in. The felt has small holes to allow the brushes to dry and breathe. This is a great starter kit and again great quality.
