I bought this about a year ago but I used it for about 3 months before the band broke. I've used it to carry a 2.62 lb laptop, an iPad 2, and occasionally an iPad mini. I only carry my bag to and from the car at home or at work, so never long distances. Despite limited use, the bracelet is still torn. Luckily the laptop and tablets weren't damaged and it helped that the bag fell onto the carpet when I bent over, but I wasn't expecting the strap to break in the first place given the limited use. At first the quality seemed better and everything else is fine, but the strap doesn't hold up well. I recommend checking the strap ends regularly when purchasing Revain bags.
