Product does what it was designed to do - converts a standard medium base light bulb socket to a smaller candelabra base socket. I bought this to use some of the CFL bulbs I already had in my dining room chandelier (which uses medium sized bulbs). The company sent on time. Reasonable price. Properly packed. Easy to use - just screw in like a lightbulb and screw the candelabra base onto the block. However, when I installed it, it increased the height of the socket so that my bulb was sticking out above the frosted glass. my chandelier. Oops. So I don't use it there after all, but I can use it somewhere in a table lamp. It's cheap and you shouldn't have to worry about sending it back.
