Review on πŸ’Ί High Capacity Big & Tall Office Chair - Mesh with Lumbar Support, 450-Pound Weight Limit - Black by Amazon Basics by Mandy Nelson

Big enough. I will say it.

Much to my relief (because my boss bought me this office chair and I didn't want to sound ungrateful), this chair is WIDE ENOUGH. And when I say a lot, I mean it. I'm 375 pounds and am a woman's size 38-40 in pants, all the weight is on my buttocks and thighs, and chairs, no matter how big or extra wide, will never, ever, EVER fit me. but this one has room left. It's perhaps the only chair I remember sitting in and not getting crushed. I was surprised by the width because I looked very, very carefully at the pictures here before making my selection and they really don't match the width of this chair. It's very generous. you really fit The support is ok but not fantastic. My hips hurt at the end of the day but I don't pinch anywhere and my back doesn't hurt. I was in possession of the chair for the entire two weeks when it started moaning and creaking every time I moved even a little. . This saddens me as I am under weight and expected more from the new chair. It still works well, I'm just not sure about its quality. It was easy to assemble and rolls smoothly on the office carpet. I like to play with the adjustable armrests (I could never use the armrests!) but they feel a little flimsy. In short, there are some things I would change or improve, but to be honest I'm just really happy to have the right width chair this time. Update: Well I haven't even had it 7 weeks and the pneumatic life gave up. The chair seat is now lowered to its lowest position and will not remain upright. Basically, I'm forced to squat or sit with my hands behind my ears to type because this chair stopped holding mine well under the weight limit. I'm definitely not happy.
