This is very good for eliminating odors on workout clothes. Unlike other cleaners, it doesn't achieve this with scents or fragrances, instead it gets to the root of the problem. Works especially well on synthetics. There are no complaints about the ability to remove odors. Doesn't work well with stains. Even using the maximum amount will not wash out the dirt/mud stains. Although this makes them lighter, they can still be seen, especially with reddish spots caused by clay in the soil. Pre-treating with spot spray helps, but this cleaner doesn't work on stains as well as a regular cleaner (Tide). Detergent has a very liquid consistency - about the same consistency as water. The recommended amount is one capsule (equivalent to 1 ounce) for normal loads and 2 capsules for heavier/heavier soiled loads. It worked great in my front loading machine that requires HE detergent. While I'm not overly impressed with its ability to remove stains, I still give it 4 stars because it removes odors so well without just covering them up. with perfume aroma. A good option for sportswear, especially from synthetic materials.
