I left it running and in a sunny window but the radio still wouldn't turn on. I'll give it another day in the window. I can't find anything that says how long to keep it in direct sunlight. Then I try the batteries. There are few directions. So far that doesn't work at all. I found that there is a switch at the bottom that needs to be toggled from AAA to LI-Ion. After that it worked fine. As I said, there are few instructions. I haven't tried the phone charger yet.
