I bought an outside socket with a smart timer 2 years ago. Most people would say it works well, but I'm a little nervous because all of my Christmas lights come on at the same time. I speak to the second. The vintage car is sometimes delayed by almost a minute. For example, if I set it to 4:45, I don't want it to turn on at 4:45 + 57 seconds. So I bought this new one hoping it would be more accurate. It's better than the old one, but sometimes it turns on with a delay of up to 15 seconds. I know, I know, it doesn't really matter. But it seems silly that the smart plug wouldn't work exactly at 4:45 (according to the example above) and not at 4:45 and 13 seconds. Apart from this quirk, this is a good product. I'm pretty sure my new smart plug is made by the same company as my old one as the app on my phone controls both. The old one still works well, although sometimes it's almost a minute late. Sometimes it's just 10 seconds too late. The two smart plugs I use for some Christmas lights always turn on promptly at 4:45. I want all the lights to come on at 4:45 sharp. Well I guess I just gotta tinker! LAUGH OUT LOUD
