As for the hulls.

This case works great. It also includes various accessories such as straps/tweezers and an X-Large water saucer. The case consists of two separate sections: a non-vented floor box and a top independent cover with a vented 2" extension bar that connects to the top of the floor box. The case also has adequate ventilation on the sides of the lid. like the top of the lid. The lid has an opening at the top of the screen that is accessed through a swing-door style lift latch. The mesh is made of coated metal, not plastic (reptiles and tarantulas can gnaw through the plastic mesh). ). The cell size is about 1/20 (0.05). The vent openings on the edge of the lid are formed to approximately 3/16 inch square (0.1875). The lid also includes an easy-to-access and spring-loaded feed port built into the 2-inch lip of the lid. This is a unique and convenient way to dump prey into the enclosure. I had issues with two of the four chassis power connectors not working properly due to manufacturing defects that consisted of reflow molding. The symptom was that when the access door opened as intended, the door fell off its hinges and fell into the enclosure. I used a small file to carefully remove a small amount of plastic from around the door hinge to restore the port door to smooth operation. 5 minutes including receiving my file and everything was fine and working very well as the design intended. Overall I think this aviary is quite well constructed, designed and thought out and is a cost effective solution for 1.5" to 2" reptiles and tarantulas. As with tarantulas, these enclosures are more appropriate for fossil and terrestrial species.
