I used to print meeting minutes from digital recordings of project meetings. I was able to easily download the software that came with this kit and after using the settings to configure it to my liking, I imported the recording into the software, connected the footswitch and headphones and simply transcribed it. The software is fairly intuitive and tracks whether you've transcribed a recording and allows you to make some audio quality adjustments, rewind the duration when you take your foot off the pedal, and track where you are in the recording . It separates completed entries from incomplete or in-process entries. With MS Word it worked without any problems. It's expensive, but if you need to transcribe digital recordings, it's worth the money and a big improvement over old-fashioned transcribers and tapes.
