If you are purchasing this item for CHECK ENGINE troubleshooting you will also need a valve cover. I rated the part in the middle because GM didn't correct the PCV valve design. From about 50,000 km it is prone to failure. When the PCV valve fails, the vacuum diaphragm is subjected to undue stress and literally ruptures. The vacuum diaphragm is located in the valve cover and cannot be repaired. Solved by replacing the valve cover and intake manifold. Parts are usually less than $250 for both, and if you know how to bypass the motor you can do it in 2.5 hours. Installing the inlet can be challenging. Fast delivery.
