I was looking for an analog phone that could have the main base in one location (my server room) and a charging station on my desk. I used a v-tec phone for this purpose but it died and the options for a replacement were slim. So I bought this phone, plugged it in and it worked right away. The phone looks good but is bulky. It doesn't have headset options, which is a real shame. It has speakerphone and an oddly named "secret" mute feature, but the sound quality is so-so. Since this is the only option that worked for me, I gladly bought it and will continue to use it. But not perfect.
