Decent cheap mirrors, packaging and fittings could be better

So let's be honest. If you bought them, it's because you were too cheap to buy CRG or Motogadget mirrors. That being said, they seem to work well with a few caveats. First, they didn't fit my rod at all initially. The clamp hole is not exactly 7/8" it's about 1/32" smaller. So I had to put a dremel in the clamps to open them up a bit. If you don't do this you will never get the fasteners to clamp the mirror ball joint. Also, the chrome screws that the mirrors came with were very cheap metal and came off easily. Throw them away and buy M4x.80 stainless bolts at the hardware store. Also, the original bolts are slightly shorter and don't quite fit the threads of the clamps, so the new bolts are slightly longer at the top and bottom. You will not regret it. Now for the good part. You look the same. The glass is clear and once tightened they stay in place. My Continental GT is running pretty smoothly in the engine department. So the mirrors don't vibrate at all. If you have a big CC Harley they can, but on my little Brit bike they don't move at all. Can't comment on durability yet but for $13 if they last a month or two. "its worth it". But I think they will last longer, no problem.
