Review on 🚴 Santic Men's Windproof Cycling Skin Coat Jersey Bicycle Jacket for Light Rain - Green by Brandon Micali

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great jacket for an avid cyclist

Lots of confusion about the sizing of this jacket. Reading the reviews people tend to go a size or two up and the seller recommends that too. Therefore, following this advice, I ordered size L, but the seller automatically increased the order. So I took XL, which was too big for me. I am 5 feet 6 inches tall and weigh 150 pounds. and between US sizes S and M, but mostly M. For more info, my shirt size is 15.5 neck, 39 chest, 32 waist and 32-33 arms. I contacted the seller and gave him my measurements. They recommended US size S. This is the jacket I was looking for. I think the sizing confusion is that most people don't wear tight cycling clothing. I love the racing cut in my cycling clothing. However, the second jacket I received fits me perfectly but still leaves room for the two bottom layers. I tried it on a 45 degree windy overcast day. I wore a thin, quick-drying base layer, a slim-fitting, long-sleeved, thin fleece cycling jersey, and this jacket over that. Add to that thin, heat-insulating gloves, a fleece helmet liner over my ear, and I was warm and hot. My only regret was not wearing knee pads. With this setup, I would ride my bike until I was 40. It's considered cold here in Florida. The material is thin but feels high quality, water does not penetrate, good zipper and reflective elements. Green attracts attention, cars and pedestrians are more aware of my presence. The back is about 5-6 inches longer than the front, which is good. There is a large pocket on the back that can be turned into a place to store a jacket, but I can fold it smaller and put it in my bag. the middle back pocket of my cycling jersey. All in all a great jacket for ambitious cyclists.
