Review on Soot Eraser Sponge Case 12 by Nicole Brand
Nearly USELESS for removing smoke damage!
These sponges did not significantly reduce the amount of smoke or soot on a range of surfaces (I had a big fire in my shop!) and when using different cleaning products! What I think really works is Mr. Clean "Magic Erasers" ("Heavy Duty") in combination with "PRORESTORE Unsmoke Wall Wash". Erasers Clean sprinkles on rough surfaces (or anything with holes), but their lifespan will be extended if the sponge is pre-moistened (DO NOT use dry!).
