My daughter wore them once and the mermaid pattern is coming off. Didn't expect them to last forever except for one wear? She didn't even play hard or anything. We went to the boat docks in town to look at all the yachts and she walked. Not moving, not in the mud. Nothing. The color washes out immediately. I had to cut off the plastic on the inside before she could put them on because they didn't cut out the inside properly either. I would not recommend them if you want to wear a pair all spring or summer. You're super cute, for a day.
