I was very happy with my first pair of Superga shoes. However, the size I received was too big and the size chart is wrong. The numbers don't match at all. I ordered US 5.5. Since this shoe is listed as a women's shoe, I thought it was safe to assume it was an American 5.5 women's running shoe. The equivalent is definitely EU 36, which confirms that it was the right size for me. However, the shoes I received were too big. Under the tongue, the international sizes of this shoe are: EU 37; USM5; US 6 1/2; UK 4 According to the size chart, EU 37 corresponds to manufacturer size 6.5, US 6.5 and UK 4.5. Factory size 5 is US 5, UK 3 and EU 35. UK size 4 is factory size 6, US 6 and EU 36. Finally, factory size 5.5 (what I ordered) is US 5.5 UK. 3.5 and EU 36. None of these size conversions are representative of the shoe tag I received! packing list, and because of this, things could get muddled. Either way, I'm stunned and probably you are too. Will definitely be returning this and maybe looking for a regular Superga store on my next try so I don't have to play Walmart sized roulette. Let the buyer be alert!
