I bought both the 13" and 15" versions. extra space which I think should make it easier to slip the device into your pocket and close it. I bought the 15" version for a Thinkpad t480 and although it's a 14" laptop it fits. But for a 14 inch laptop. In my opinion, a 15-inch device probably won't fit into a 15-inch variant. I tried my old Lenovo Flex 15 and it's too big to fit in. To JETech's credit, the Flex 15 occupies more space than most 15-inch laptops, so your mileage may vary. With my 14" laptop in a 15" case, the amount of extra space seems to match the amount of space left in the 13" version with my x380.
