Review on Smart Garmin Vivofit Bracelet 2 by Agata Jasiczek ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I am satisfied with everything, both price and quality, I advise you to buy.

This is my first fitness bracelet. I decided to keep statistics on how many calories I spend daily in order to maintain a certain level. I chose garmin because the quality of this manufacturer has always been satisfactory. I also looked to make sure it was compatible with the MyFitnessPal app, as it seemed to me the most convenient (and supports most bracelets!). In addition, battery life was important to me, I didn’t want to think about charging once a day. Integration with the phone (reminders, messages, the ability to call) did not interest me at all. I use the bracelet in conjunction with the iPhone. It took about 10 minutes to set up - installed Garmin Connect software, registered on the Garmin website, paired the bracelet with my phone, linked the garmin software to MyFitnessPal, set up goals in both applications. I add food to MyFitnessPal every day so as not to overeat kilocalories). There is a large database of products and the ability to scan a barcode. I wear the bracelet myself instead of a watch, since the time is always visible on it (unlike many bracelets without a screen or with an inactive screen). Since he is not afraid of water, it is not scary to walk in the rain, play in the pool with a child. I only take it off when I shower. I also sleep in it, thanks to the backlight it is convenient to see the time in the dark. The manufacturer promises a whole year of battery life, which pleases. There is only one button on the bracelet - it switches modes (time, calories, kilometers, goal in steps and calories, something else). Configured to display only hours, steps and distance traveled. There were 2 straps in the kit, although I don’t have a big hand, a larger strap came up. They can be ordered on eBay in any color and are not expensive. It's bad that there is no alarm, but for many years I got used to waking up by phone. ate. Soon it will be almost 2 years since I wear a bracelet - I still have not changed the batteries. During this time, the native strap cracked, now I'm wearing the second one from the set - a small one. Everything suits, the device is satisfied!

Pros
  • Watch Battery Ease of setup
Cons
  • No smart alarm Does not measure the pulse (you need a separate bulky device)
