Big question: is this real leather? Only real leather is labeled "High Grain" or "Full Grain". The product description says "top coat" here, which is a dubious term. I am pleased to report that this is indeed genuine leather of the highest quality judging by some areas of the bag with the leather edges exposed. BENEFITS - Feels like real leather of the highest quality. — The color of the wine looks good. Not tasteless - Great zipper organization. There are 1 outside zip pocket and 2 inside zip pockets. The light gray inner lining in herringbone pattern makes the contents clearly visible. Far superior to other bags that use a black interior. CONS: The gold metal is a lot more colorful than I expected. The image of the product makes it look like light or even silvery gold, and it definitely isn't. This is yellow gold found in sunken pirate treasure. The side pockets are a bit odd. I expected them to be the water bottle holders they can be, but only if you fully unbuckle the buckle strap and let it dangle. These bags have a magnetic closure in addition to the buckle, so I guess they're meant to hold small items, but not so small that they could fall out if you tip the bag over. Not that helpful. This is a very heavy bag which makes it not the best choice for travel when you may need to carry it on a long trip. Perfect for the city and parties. In general this is a good leather case if you like the yellow gold finish.
