Review on Brushed Nickel Moen YB2308BN Holder by Joshua Albright

I ordered Moen because of the legendary quality of the brand. The product arrived quickly and looks very good (as advertised). However, I am disappointed by the following things that I didn't pay attention to at all: 1. The bracket is made of plastic and has only one fastening screw. The stability of the product depends on a screw and a pair of small "blades" that stick into the drywall above the screw. I am not at all sure about the stability. 2. My toilet paper holder did not come with the correct instructions. Instead (see photo) I was only given general instructions on fitting my multi-post elements into the "Glyde" line. This frustrated me because I needed to know how to properly install THIS item. I hope I did it right, but I'm not sure. Their online video instructions (watch the ad) also do not describe how to install this item. Terrible. 3. Although the item itself is actually solid metal (zinc), the back (see 2nd picture) is semi-hollow, scooped out! I'm sure less metal makes it cheaper but they still charge $30 for this product. Pooh. While I'd love to give it five stars, I'm only giving it three. If the item doesn't fall off the wall in a few months, I may upgrade my rating to four stars. I have emailed Moen and I hope they will improve their support for this type of product.
