It was very easy to install. I remember the previous water bottle holder took about an hour, but this one basically took me 5 minutes. Everything came ready to install, even with a small Allen key and chrome screws. I could have used my old bike bolts but I lost one so it was perfect, this holder came with new bolts. I normally just use regular bottled water and have had a lot of problems in the past with a lot of lost bottles because the holders adjust to a larger size, but as it's fully enclosed on the side this isn't a problem at all, and with my first ones both bike rides it was absolutely no problem with it. Secure fit and hold. It also goes well with my bike. Love it.
