I bought this kit because I wanted the old float system, not the newer one where the float moves up and down on the main block. Tired of replacing problematic leaking ones with new ones. So I bought this one which has a big round bobber on the end like they used to have. Although it worked the way I wanted it, I had to change the length of the bar quite a bit. The reason for this is that my toilet cistern (although it was a normal old toilet, nothing special of course, i.e. construction toilet) didn't have the usual volume. Therefore, it was difficult to install the blast bullet in the tank without touching it. I set it to the maximum so the rod length was shorter, but it ended up saying: cut rod, check, remove, cut rod, check. deal guy. For work, when it comes out again I guess I'll just buy the same old new style and live with it. At least that's the screw for these lower capacity tanks.
