Review on 🧂 Cole & Mason 8" Battersea Electric Salt and Pepper Grinder Set - Stainless Steel, Battery Operated Mill by Kevin Mitchell

Not happy with it. I bought two to replace a set I had previously (I dropped one and cracked so it had to be replaced). Sorry to get rid of the old ones because even in a broken state the old ones worked better than this one. These grinders - let me list my complaints. First, they contain almost no salt or pepper. A teaspoon is best, so you'll need to refill often. Second, as other reviewers have pointed out, the grind speed is SLOW W. You need to work a good minute (yes, a full minute, at least for pepper). to get enough seasoning when cooking. There is very little output and the grinder itself sounds very slow and weak compared to my old grinder. Third, this LED light, I don't know what it means; It's not powerful enough to illuminate anything while I'm cooking (like a large pot that's slightly darkened). Very disappointed. I will go back to Williams-Sonoma, put up with it and get good ones next time.
