I bought a flashlight before buying this set of 6. I liked the single (from a different manufacturer) so when I saw this set of 6 I figured they would all work the same way. From 6 - 1 never worked, another stopped working even with new batteries and the 3rd is now questionable. So I just had to keep buying my money from the seller I knew. I don't tie lights to anything that works. They are used as guest room lanterns when no one wants to turn on the overhead light and wake up children or spouse. They are very bright but do not disturb other sleepers as a ceiling light or lamp.
