Like most people, our grapefruit spoons have disappeared like hiking socks over the years, so I finally decided I had to replace them. I'm glad I did because it's so much better than carefully guiding the grapefruit with a steak knife. A grapefruit knife is included but trust me you will NEVER use one. The serrated spoons are the perfect size for the grapefruit and make the job easier. However, I don't mind being a little sloppy every now and then as it is well known that the inner "skin" and skin of a grapefruit is the healthiest part, so eating a slice of the skin is a painless treat that will help you fill up even more more on. .But trust me, buy extras because no matter how big your family is now, you will eventually lose enough to need extras!
