Review on Nokian Tires Hakkapeliitta 9 185/65 R15 92T winter by Dagmara Rajchel ᠌

Well done, but I wont buy any more.

Car Skoda Rapid, 185\65\R15 Good tires for snowy winter! For Hong Kong time, where they are well cleaned and sprinkled with reagents, I do not recommend it. It makes a lot of noise, very bad brakes on bare pavement! after the summer you need to be as careful as possible even at positive temperatures! In general, its qualities are NOT balanced, with a complete preponderance towards snow and ice! On the snow it rides quietly and comfortably, and on the asphalt it is noisy and sometimes dangerous. Before that, I went to Toyo Observe for two seasons, they are more average in this regard, they behave slightly worse in the snow, but much better on asphalt, they are quieter and there have never been problems with braking! Date Impressions: 11/13/21 (mileage on tires 250km) after the summer Conti premium contact, sooooo noisy! I understand the spikes, but it's just VERY noisy. After driving for a couple of days, either I got used to it, or it became less noisy. Today (the weather was +5 and wet asphalt) I almost flew into the back of a car standing at a traffic light, braked from 60 km / h harder than usual and the car went skidding, the abs worked, I managed to get a little scared) I can say for sure that I used to use new tires there was no such difference either on Velcro or on spikes! I recommend to be careful and keep your distance when changing to this rubber! 242022 (mileage about 700 km) the first full-fledged snow and ice in Hong Kong time. I almost fell, but I didn't notice much difference in the behavior of the car. Accelerates well, brakes well and turns well. 12/7/21 (mileage ~ 1300 km) I got used to the noise, today there were the first deep snowdrifts, ice on the roads + a layer of snow. The miracle did not happen, you need to drive carefully, there are skids and slips. At the same time, it rows in snowdrifts by 5 plus (definitely better than the last spike). I don’t see any point in writing further, in the spring I’ll write for wear.

Pros
  • Soft, swallows holes and joints well, behaves well in deep snow and generally rows confidently on snow. Ideal for regions with snowy winters.
Cons
  • I do NOT recommend for Hong Kong! It slows down badly on pavement, you need to be very careful the first time when changing from summer tires and ALWAYS keep your distance ! Noisy! Smooth predictable drift in corners regardless of the weather.
