I have a maltipoo. Bad spots on the eyes. I tried 3 other products. I even asked the vet what to do. She said none of the products sold in the US actually work as most of them are dangerous. I've seen several videos on youtube about this. Bought. Used intensively for 2 weeks. It really works! I think the way it works is that you apply the gel to the dog's coat 3 times and the tear stains seem to wash out after using a tear free shampoo and rubbing in the gel. Accepts multiple uses and I comb out the tears before applying the gel. You can buy combs to remove tear fluid. I want to point out that if you get it in the dog's eyes, it's probably toxic. So I always apply it very carefully with the tip of my index finger so as not to hurt my dog's eyes. Don't apply with cotton swabs or paper towels as you probably can't be exact. Good product. Will keep buying. It's a large tub and will probably take me a year to use it all.
