Problem with heating on Linux and not supporting Gigabyte

I have owned this device for more than a month and here is my opinion:** It looks very good to me as I have to use the device for business, it looks so don't look like other slots with red colors and logos that make your device look out of place when you're in a meeting or something. ** In terms of build quality, this is my first high-end laptop that I've used as it's also very good for me. ** The screen impresses me and I can say that this is the best screen I have ever used. ==> PERFORMANCE: Let's break this into two parts: ** Windows :- The first time I logged into windows it was cumbersome, full of junk and had poor performance, then after a clean install it now works like a spell. **Linux: Since I use Linux for work and it is the main operating system that I use on PC and laptop for my work, after installing Linux all problems started: - The problem with the heat reaching the device. 80 C is easy and the fans are still slow because you can't control the fans from Linux. - You also can't control the fans via BIOS even if it's UEFI, so there's still no solution to this problem. - contacted gigabyte and this is another big problem contacting gigabyte and after just under a month i was able to reach them, then they replied that we don't support linux and the solution they have is to work on windows! - Now I can't return the device because they replied very late and I also buy this device to mainly work on it and besides work I play some games but they just want me to play games! ==> Conclusion ===========- If you want a device with good customer support --> STAY FROM GIGABYTE.- If you plan to use primarily Linux on this device --> STAY FROM GIGABYTES. - If you don't need support or Linux and you want a good device in terms of build quality, a perfect screen and Windows as the primary operating system, you can try (I'm not responsible for this advice). ==> For me this is the FIRST and LAST laptop AND this is the LAST GIGABYTE product I will be using as their support is the worst support I have ever experienced so support and customer service is a must for me.
