Correct polarity, no bass. The stock ones pumped out the bass, likely due to the rim of the foam on the cones, the same foam that caused them to fall off with wear. insulation and 10% of the actual wires and that the wire is not made of copper. OR at least if it's some weird coated copper wire that looks like silver, it would be nice if it was a more real wire. I haven't actually tested these little wires, but if someone told me that the new wires are just as good as the old ones, have more real wires, I wouldn't believe them. fits terribly. I had to press harder than I should and support the link plate so I wouldn't bend it with my finger and the back is sharp and pointy and it bled. If my s10 was a daily driver I wouldn't have bought them but now my long junkyard trips are a little more comfortable. There is not enough bass, they cope with their task normally. I simply moved the fader a little closer to the stock front speakers and turned up the volume a bit to compensate.
