Ok, first of all I don't know why Chevy liked speakers this size in the 90's, but overall they sound pretty good and match my 93 S10 perfectly. They fit even better than the Kenwood ones I had. Their high frequencies and bass are more pronounced in my opinion. Good speakers for a good price.

Works great I put these in my 94 full size blazer and they work fine but they are hooked up to my standard stereo so can't really comment on how good the base is because the stereo it does not output power per speaker like new but good quality!

Correct polarity, no bass. The stock ones pumped out the bass, likely due to the rim of the foam on the cones, the same foam that caused them to fall off with wear. insulation and 10% of the actual wires and that the wire is not made of copper. OR at least if it's some weird coated copper wire that looks like silver, it would be nice if it was a more real wire. I had heard the Cerwin Vega name as a good brand before so when I saw the fairly low price I thought I'd risk it and get a good sound quality for a low price. Discount. I shouldn't have bought something cheap and expected it to be good, that's my fault. I wouldn't recommend them if you want your sound to sound good because that won't happen with them.

S10 factory rear speakers have an impedance of 10 ohms. When installing 4-ohm speakers as a replacement, the impedance of a factory or aftermarket radio is significantly lower. This is the reason for the poor audio quality in the comments that I see most of the time. If you use an external amplifier this problem does not arise as long as all the speakers are in phase of course!

I have an old POS 1991 Ext Cab S10 that I have driven every day for 25 years. I don't "hear" any music in it, I just need the background, so I don't care about the sound quality. I noticed the RR speaker didn't work so I found and ordered them. (5X10 aren't very popular so not much choice). I installed it and WOW what a difference. I find myself turning up the volume and listening to music again. If this truck is in the draw someone will be surprised to find it and enjoy it the way I am now.
