Review on 💡 Andis Blade Care Plus Dip Jar: The Ultimate Solution for Blade Maintenance, 16 oz by Tina Williams

This is the second time I bought it. For the first time I would give the product 5 stars without reservation. This time I would give it 3.5 stars but err on the side of a lower rating. The liquid itself is great and works like the first time, ie works as expected. However, Andis They seem to have made the wrong decision by changing the plastic canister. It looks the same, the size is the same, but it's definitely not the same. The product I received has a significantly softer plastic canister body. So soft that it flexes so much in your hand that it becomes almost impossible to unscrew the lid properly. Now I have it almost half open as the lid is really difficult to screw properly on a deforming canister. The plastic doesn't seem nearly as hard as it should be. When I first got acquainted with the product a few years ago, there were no such problems. As far as the seemingly new packaging material is concerned, the foil on the can was also disappointing. It's one of the ones that was attached with some kind of glue that doesn't come off cleanly. In fact, the neck of my canister is still covered in foil that won't peel off, let alone peel off cleanly. This was another annoyance that surfaced from the start (obviously upon opening). Good product but Andis seems to have lowered the container cost.
