Kindle Fire HD Compatible HDMI Cable Finally Here!

First things first, yes it will work with an old Kindle Fire HD with a micro HDMI port. (The image in the description showing a close-up of the connector will help you check if your model is compatible). Movies downloaded in "best" quality and higher, look great on TV. (It's great to be on vacation and go to an area where there is no cable or Wi-Fi.) One caveat is that I got a weird DRM error when trying to connect to my Samsung - Make televisions at home. It works fine on the two LG TVs I tried it on and the same Samsung TV had trouble connecting to the Sony Blu-ray player so I think it's definitely the TV's fault, not that of the cable. All in all, if you are looking for a way to connect your Kindle Fire to your TV, this will help you. that I received a strange DRM error when trying to connect to my Samsung TV at home. Pros
  • 6-foot cable connects tablets and smartphones with a micro HDMI port to an HDTV or computer monitor with an HDMI port for video and audio streaming. Type D - Type A. (Note: Check your device to make sure you are using a MICRO-HDMI connector. There is another larger type: MINI-HDMI. Also, this item will NOT work with Kindle Fire devices that have a different port connection )
Cons
  • Expensive
