I am a contractor working with several defense contractors. Safety is paramount when working in these manufacturing facilities. In the event of an accident or injury, an OSHA report, etc. is required, which is a big problem. They can easily be thrown for any kind of injury or accident. I've been doing this for 19 years - without incident or injury. I used this device in a project. I reached for my tool belt to grab something near this device but my finger stuck right between my two hands and hit the blade and when I pulled it out I had a deep wound and was bleeding all over. Luckily it happened where nobody saw it. I had to put my hand in my pocket to hide the bleeding and get to the bathroom where I could wrap it in a tissue, put on a glove and leave before anyone saw. The cable tester works perfectly. But this crimping tool has a design flaw that makes it unsafe. I have never experienced that with any other crimping tool. It's just incomprehensible that this can happen.
