Review on πŸ₯£ OXO Good Grips Stainless-Steel Mixing Bowl Set - 3-Piece Durable and Ergonomic Design by Renee Chavez

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I love mine and use them so often that I bought a second set!

Okay, you may think $60 is a lot for a set of three bowls, but listen to me. If you're a bit clumsy or accident prone, or if you run around the kitchen so fast that sometimes things "mysteriously" fall to the floor, then these bowls are made for you. They are almost impossible to bring down. Think back to the weeble wobbles you played with as a kid. The rubber grip on the weighted base has saved me from SO MANY accidents where a bowl slipped over the counter and spilled/tipped over. I think this often happens in small kitchens where there is NEVER ENOUGH space for a worktop! Another advantage is that they are deep rather than very wide, thus taking up less counter space. I also like the stainless steel interior. I can make turkey burgers, wash the bowl, and then bake cupcakes in the same bowl and I don't have to worry about food contamination issues. These bowls are indestructible! I like to put one in the fridge or freezer before making whipped cream. Unlike my handmade ceramic bowls, I never have to worry about them cracking or chipping. I love mine and use them so often that I bought a second set. They come in VERY handy when making multiple or large batches of cookies, cakes, canned salsa and whatever. They're also great when you're making large meals when you need to thaw meat in something safe/non-porous. If you're half as active in the kitchen as I am, just go ahead and buy the damn things!

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent
Cons
  • Nothing
