Should have listened to feedback from people who said it ruined their slide. We used this thing once and in less than a month our disposal was literally rusting through, starting to leak and literally putting us in shock. (For example, it physically shocked us when we poured water and touched the metal sink!) It worked fine before using this product, it's not old junk and it's a good brand (InSinkErater Badger). I can't find any other reason. so that the device does not fail, as was the case with another product. I also had a professional tell me that they have never seen a relatively new salvage rust like ours does. Buyer Warning. This stuff costs less, but it ended up costing us over $200 to replace the entire recycling unit.
