I can't comment on the ease of installation of these headlights as I asked my Jeep dealer to install them along with the Mopar off-road OEM wiring harness. This worked very well as the wiring harness connects directly to the main wiring harness with no modification and the switch mates with my main off-road lighting package. However, I can say that they work exceptionally well. Here in Qatar, people have an unpleasant habit of walking down narrow streets in dark clothes. This is a disaster just waiting to happen. I aligned these headlights so that they shine on both sides of the road at the same height as my regular headlights. Their small size, focused beam, increased brightness and high mounting position combine to illuminate pedestrians without dazzling oncoming drivers. When I get into the desert, they fill in the gaps in 'normal' driving, while my larger, standard off-road headlights illuminate obstacles and eliminate surprises.
