As the tagline says, you get what you pay for. I know this, but I thought really how much can it cost to produce lenses out of polycarbonate. Why does Oakley get a premium for the lenses, and can't someone produce them for a reasonable price? So I bought these. I can say the optical clarity is good. The polarization doesn't equal that of the Oakleys. Where these lenses really fail is that they are simply not robust. I haven't put a micrometer on the lenses, but these are at best half the thickness of the Oakley lenses. They are not ridged. If you are looking for impact protection these are definitely not to the same standards as the Oakley lenses. They also do not fit as well in my frames. They work reasonably. However, I wish I hadn't wasted my money on these. Spend the extra money and go with the Oakley lenses.
