Works with the trusty HP LP3065 Monitor (2560 x 1660, 59Hz)

One of the monitors in my family is the HP LP3065 30 inch monitor. I bought it about 15 years ago. At the time it was one of the best monitors available. accurate (after calibration) colors. The downside of the monitor is that it comes with three dual-link DVI connectors. When this monitor was designed, DisplayPort and HDMI were either in the early stages of development or didn't exist yet, while USB was of course C, wasn't even invented yet. Very few graphics cards today support dual-link DVI. So we have a desktop with a graphics card that supports this interface, but cannot connect to it any other way. This adapter solves the problem! I was able to connect the monitor to my laptop via USB-C and actually got a native resolution of 2560 x 1600 @ 59Hz. This will extend the life of this old but very good monitor! Thanks Club 3D!
