I rescued this horse from a pen and of course I have no idea of his past. I got lucky after buying a horse scope that nobody saw except for a few photos taken in the kill pen. When the horse moves his head into the cradle position, the part under the throat puts pressure on it, which I think makes it very uncomfortable to continue. When the horse's head is at normal height, the collar will be loose, which is not uncomfortable at all. The strap has fleece pads to prevent chafing, which is a nice touch.
