Stop being so subtle!: Collars

I rescued this horse from a pen and of course I have no idea of his past. I got lucky after buying a horse scope that nobody saw except for a few photos taken in the kill pen. Something said, "Go on," and I did. She has no faults other than a slight tingling in the stall. Her teeth are still fine with no signs of premature wear (was at the equine dentist) so I knew I had to find something to prevent this nasty blemish. I did a lot of research on how to control my hair and this collar won out. Although a bit pricey, it serves its purpose. It is very heavy, very robust and well made. The collar design really works. When the horse moves his head into the cradle position, the part under the throat puts pressure on it, which I think makes it very uncomfortable to continue. When the horse's head is at normal height, the collar will be loose, which is not uncomfortable at all. The strap has fleece pads to prevent chafing, which is a nice touch. If you have a bobby pin, I would suggest trying this bobby pin.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
