Soft "Chrome " crashes when used.

Just thought it would be worth stopping by and checking them out even though I bought them at an auto parts store in town near my house. Below is a copy of an email I just sent to Dorman. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Hello backpackers, I purchased a set of your chrome wheel locks, part number 711-211, 1/2"-20, and installed them on an RV trailer we have. I put them at 100 ft. lbs. with a torque wrench and we did Installed "I've clocked about 3,000 miles on tires and wheels since installing. While winterizing the camper, I decided to remove the wheels to check the brakes and lubricate the hubs. Use a key on the locks which made normal removal impossible. The chrome just gave way. The key was hard enough metal to hold its shape, but your "chrome" lock failed miserably. I had to unscrew the locknut with a hammer and chisel and push on the sides hard enough to put the wrench back in and unlock it can solve enough I'm glad it happened on my street and not a street where I don't have access to tools and will end up calling a tow truck or someone else's service to fix your mess I have removed all your wheel locks and replaced them with standard nuts Your product is very disappointing [my name] [my city]
