After a few months of use the cable started to fail. I used it to hook up a projector in a large room and it worked great for the first few months. After some time it lost its color. I have checked the projector settings and computer settings. In the end, after replacing the cable, everything worked. So I tried this cable again and it was sometimes colored and sometimes yellowed. Everything was black and white back then. Since most of the usage was just for texts, that was fine. But then, after some time, the screen started flickering and dimming. Then I stopped using it altogether.
