Review on ๐Ÿ‘• HeatGear Armour Sleeveless Compression T-shirt for Men by Under Armour by Brian Samaiyar

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Neither fish nor meat

Bought at the same time as the UnderArmor V-neck compression shirt (also in test). I figured the difference would only be in the coverage (higher neckline and no sleeves) but it also has a breathable "bar" on the sides. It really promotes comfort and does something logical and unique by reducing chest compression. All in all a good idea for a NON WORKOUT shirt and I wish their V-neck version had that feature. In this case, the lack of sleeves and lack of compression from anything other than the body (a bit) doesn't make it a great training shirt (very low compression). There are other products that just compress your core and do it better. The lack of sleeves and vented sides would have made this a great 'dress' t-shirt, but the high neckline with colored stitching and large branding on the back of the neck doesn't lend itself to that. All in all it seems well done and I'm glad someone realized that the chest doesn't usually need compression. However, I am not sure when I will use this. Not compressive enough for the gym and a bit odd to wear (visibly) under a shirt (maybe some people will like it. I think you could wear it alone but I'm not sure where I would wear anything) like this is different from the gym and not ideal for that.

Pros
  • It's fun
Cons
  • There are disadvantages
