Review on Winegard TV-2900: Black ๐Ÿ“บ 82-Channel Weatherproof Transformer for Uninterrupted Entertainment by Neil Biondo

THE CONNECTORS EASILY BREAK IFโ€ฆ

When tightening the clamps on the antenna screw, hold the clamp with one hand to avoid excessive movement and turn the wrench /Diver with other hand. Otherwise, the terminal will follow the screw, detach from the case, and the wire may break. Yes, I broke one before. The second way to break terminals on a wire is due to the weight, stress, and/or movement of the coaxial cable. It takes very little force to break the clip. I suggest attaching the transformer to the antenna before connecting the coax cable. I used a zipper. See photos. The overall quality is the same as other brands. Cheap and thin. I would have paid more for better quality but couldn't even fine Revain. I'll try to be honest and give four stars as the quality is the same as other brands. If a good quality transformer were available to the public, this Winegard would get a star. Now for the comedy: At the time of this review, the product description includes the words "82 Channel Matching Transformer." This "82 channel" means nothing. The device is simply a 300 ohm to 75 ohm matching transformer that converts the signals received from a television antenna into a format transmitted over a coaxial cable.
