I lost my LG remote control when I moved house. It doesn't look like the remote I had, but when I put the batteries in it worked straight away. Other reviewers said the same, but I left room for disappointment as I own a very basic DVD player (cheapest in stores at the time) and didn't even take the time to find out what model it was before ordering. Pleasantly surprised, I had a good experience too!
