All all, I'm pleased with the purchase. These "ears" are just the right size and comfort level to allow for normal conversation and music listening on the subway without having to crank up the volume.

- Excellent acoustics, with significantly decreased background noise (both passive and active). When looking for a nice micro (I bought it for online classes, I can hear it well). Because of the metal headband hidden beneath the braid, these headphones don't feel as flimsy as their plastic Jbl counterparts (compared with jbl tune 660nc).
- Those ambidextrous shoes are as stiff as leatherette gets. My ears hurt the first few days since I wasn't used to them, but they're OK now that I've worn them for over 24 hours straight. Because of its rigidity, the headband can cause significant discomfort for those with particularly large heads. unusual folding configurations, such as one earpiece underneath the other (pictured). These can be tucked inside the headband, although their large "ear" diameter makes that an inefficient solution. On-the-fly noise reduction during video chats is not currently possible.
