Pretty easy to install if you follow the instructions. The connector that goes into the camera is very tight, so be careful not to force it or you'll break the connection in the camera like I did. Also, the solar panel has an internal battery that first charges and then charges the camera battery. I installed 2 of these on 2 different cameras with batteries below 40%. Both were fully charged within 24 hours or 8 hours of sunlight. Camera activity zones work while the camera battery is charging, but not after the battery is 100% charged. I would buy more if I had more cameras.
