This is a small device, about the size of a hockey puck, it was easy to install and use. After about 1 minute I plugged it into a Sony speaker/dock (for a tablet I no longer use) and paired it with my phone. I've always liked the speaker's sound quality, but it only has an RCA input (no built-in Bluetooth, etc.). Now with this bluetooth receiver i can use my phone with this speaker via bluetooth. What I really like about this receiver, and what I think sets it apart from others, are the controls right on the receiver itself for play/pause and volume. It sits on my desktop right next to my keyboard and the controls are right at my fingertips! I'd love for it to be a BT transmitter as well, but that doesn't merit any downsizing or diminish the usefulness or value of this device as a solid BT receiver.
