I bought this mouse pad after seeing similar ones on my friends desks. I have to say that I was very satisfied with this purchase. The mouse pad is very large and accommodates both my keyboard and mouse and there is still room left. The light has 2 levels of brightness: dim and bright. Admittedly, dim mode is very dim, so I don't use it. I prefer an extremely bright and bright light setting. It also has many different lighting styles using all the primary colors, as well as several different rainbow and breath effects. I usually use the rainbow effect as it suits my setup. The top of the mouse pad is very smooth while the bottom is very grippy. It doesn't slip at all. The two control buttons are simple and intuitive and do not interfere with the use of the device. Overall I like this mouse pad.
