Review on WOLFBOX 3-Channel Mirror Dash Cam With Full HD Rear View And Touch Screen by John Surabhi

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Lousy mounting options.

So far the video quality looks great but I do have a few problems with the design.First, the mirror is awful as a stand alone mirror. Very dark.Second, while you can mirror the video from the cameras, there's no way to flip it vertically. This is disappointing because some vehicles may be easier to mount the cameras upside down from their normal orientation.Third, I really wish you could do a split scree with just 2 cameras instead of all 3. This would be nice because since the mirror is so useless as a mirror, you need to leave the rear camera on to see what's behind the vehicle. This means that you can't see anything inside the vehicle. You can do a split screen but it shows all 3 cameras if they are all hooked up.The last issue I have is that LED headlights look like strobes. Especially with the rear camera. The FPS of the cameras are way off so every car with LED lights look like they are cop cars.

With a proper install the wolfbox g880 is a great mirror dash cam I personally installed mine and hid the wires well and paired with a rear mirror mount to replace the factory mirror in your car it makes for a almost factory install an additional added benifit I had not considered is with the interior cam placed correctly it will record the driver window allowing traffic stops to be recorded without the need to get a phone out
