This umbrella comes as advertised. It is a very sturdy and nice looking addition to our pool patio. As stated you do need a very solid and heavy base for it due to the weight and width of the umbrella. This will keep it upright in light winds. I recommend a base with at least 60 lbs weight, or even better, one with 80lbs. The base must be able to accept a 1.9 inch width pole, which is larger than a standard umbrella pole width of 1.25 inches. The listing does have a link to a product that offers a nice base on wheels that fits these criteria perfectly. This base will cost around an additional 100.00. Superjare also offers an umbrella cover for this unit which we purchased for about 35.00 for winter storage. So far we are very happy with all three purchases !
